Complete Encapsulation

Concrete is the most preferred and permanent solution for crawl space problems. The American Lung Association and The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommend a concrete floor and proper drainage be installed in all new and existing buildings. Utilizing concrete in combination with a true vapor barrier and proper drainage will alleviate the serious health problems your family may be experiencing from radon, mold and other allergens. Concrete is the solution. Concrete Crawlspaces Corp. utilizies 3 1/2" to 4" of concrete in every crawl space we encapsulate. Are you truly getting 3 1/2" to 4"?
What About Plastic Liners?

They puncture and tear easily. The taped seams can pull apart. It is virtually impossible to get a complete seal. To make things worse, plastic liners trap too much moisture, potentially increasing mold considerably. Mold inhibitors are used on some plastic liners but this does not eliminate the problem of moisture and mold from the surface underneath the liner. Plastic liners are a band-aid solution to a serious problem.
A True Vapor Barrier

Do not be fooled by the thickness of normal plastic sheeting used by our competitors.
Concrete is porous and corrosive and will break down normal plastic sheeting used by most contractors. Our Vapor Matt is impervious to concrete’s corrosive properties. Underslab Vapor Mat costs 5 times as much as normal plastic sheeting yet is worth every penny when utilized. It truly seals in all ground-born contaminates associated with an unfinished crawl space. It is the right solution. Concrete Crawlspaces Corp. does not cut corners in any phase of the encapsultion process.
Proper Drainage, Properly Installed

If your crawl space has a history of standing water or water seepage, our technicians will repair foundation cracks and address other waterproofing issues. If needed, we will install a custom drainage and sump pump system to help eliminate the problem. One of our experts will fully explain the course of action needed to resolve the issues permanently and what it takes to do the job right. An improperly installed drainage system will not solve the problem.

Pumping in the Concrete

After our technicians have resolved water and drainage issues, we level the area. Then the vapor barrier is laid down as the first layer of protection against moisture and ground contaminates. From the street, the concrete is pumped to the crawl space via a 4" flexible rubber hose, preventing damage to your driveway, landscaping or home interior. The concrete is then leveled and hand finished. When completed, you won't even recognize your new, usable space.

Spray Foam Insulation

State of the art spray foam equipment assures quality.
When your new concrete crawlspace floor has cured, we recommend insulating the foundation and sill boxes using closed cell polyurethane foam. Spray foam insulation is the most advanced insulation available delivering the highest R-values, providing unmatched energy efficiency. Closed cell insulation is also an excellent barrier that will prevent moisture and critters from invading your newly finished crawlspace. Spray foam will expand into the smallest crevices giving a complete seal.
